About The Pastor

Pastor Michael Obioma Nwamoh accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior in August 1967. He served under the ministry of the Scripture Union of Nigeria for several years during which he held various leadership positions. Pastor Nwamoh also served at The Apostolic Church of Nigeria, where the Lord used him to plant and nurture many Churches in the Eastern part of Nigeria.

In November 1991, Pastor Michael Nwamoh, under divine direction came to the United States of America to touch lives and prepare them for God’s Kingdom. While in the US, he attended the Maryland Bible College and Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, with a major in Biblical Studies and the Luther Rice University and Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia, where he earned his Master’s degree in Theology and Leadership.

In early January 2002, Pastor Nwamoh received a ministration from the Lord concerning “His people, who were literally scattered like sheep without a shepherd.” By spending time in prayers and seeking God’s sense of direction, The Agape Christian Church was born in August 2002.

By profession, Pastor Nwamoh is a registered Educational Technologist, and a member of the Nigerian Institute of Science Technology. He was the head of the Medical Illustration Department, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital, Enugu, Nigeria from 1979-1991.

Pastor Michael Obioma Nwamoh hails from the Eastern part of Nigeria. He is married to a God fearing woman, Mrs. Charity Nwamoh. They are blessed with five wonderful children (three daughters and two sons), and twelve grandchildren.

Pastor Nwamoh is a gifted teacher of the Word. His famous scripture is, “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.” (Psalm 138:8). He is the author of the Heavenly Banquet Daily Devotional―a devotional that enhances one’s intimacy with God.
